Pages of lamentation sing,
Tears from my eyes do spring;
Written words in such emotion:
Eternal print of a heart's devotion
To a love by time unaltered,
And when read, my heart is startled.
Therefore, I read and read, to live again
The sweet sufferance and pain,
Immortalised in my poetry;
By love revived, my memory:
We are young and innocent,
With love nestled in hearts' depth.
Recollection of love from the pages of the past conjures up sweet and sour thoughts. Loved it thoroughly.
A pinch of pain coupled with the song of sorrow and ray of hope in the end..took this poem to a different level altogether.....Loved it, Loved it..MP....100+++
Pages of lamentation sing here with great interest of expression. Heart's devotion is eternally printed in this. Sweet suffering of pain is erased with love and memory of happiness. Interesting poem this is.10
I like the theme of this write and also how it is written..... I feel that is what our poetry portrays....our deepest emotions shared through a poetic pen. Enjoyed reading!
