Look to me for everything
I will walk with you
You love me like a song
Not just the voice that carries
Or the notes on a page
Lyrics within your heart
The set on a stage
The crowd that gathers to sing praise
You love me more that beauty within strings and brass
Rhythm of the beats that mimic
Loves piercing waves of grace
Oh my beloved you love me but I love you more

Walk with me my beloved and learn
The unforced rhythms of grace
I will carry you my atonement
My blessed and the one that is abased
Let me show you every day
The splendor of my glory
On your hands and on your face
As I walk beside you lovingly
At your slow and steady pace
My covenant to you my precious gift
Please let it be your comfort and peace
Covering you in everlasting grace
Protecting you from harm
As you walk alone in this world
Darling I promise I will never leave you
And what I ask of you
Will never be a waste
