Rise Poem by Marisa Eutsler

Rise

Those tears you cry are only salt and water mixed,
That pain you feel can be fixed,
The only remorse is those who are broken,
The things you say are words to be spoken,
Those bummed out hours waiting for nothing to come,
The moments you realize he won't let you have some,
The tears you cry when you suddenly notice,
That what you used to have was turned like a burn-notice,
Don't let those people look you down,
Don't let them look at you funny,
Their just like you, only your a lot better but frown,
You just don't have the rich persons money,
Listen to the words the Buddha once said,
'Once your alive, your alive until the gods claim your soul and leaves your numb body for the dead.'
