Rocks In My Head Poem by Ibrar Ahmad Siddiqi

Rocks In My Head

Waking up this morning,
Felt like a load on my mind.
Feeling l got the world on my shoulders.
But my friend said that I'd problems the size of boulders.
Broke down my way of thinking.
Got my lifeboat floating.
Not capsizing under stress or sinking.
Got rid of those big stones.
Broke them them down like I did.
Now I got rocks in my head instead.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A couple of mentors helped resolve the problems in my head by telling me not to overthink, analyse or worry about anything. As a result, I feel lighter and the burden of life has lifted leaving my head free of worry - thanks Robert, thanks Paul.
