Roses And Thorns

Roses and thorns
Love and pain
Blood and knives
Murders and fate

Roses are given
Love is shown
Thorns will prick you
And pain is shown
Blood is split
Knives will kill you
And murder is what's left
And fate is what
Slit your heart open

Never to mend

Leaving
forever

flowing
Love

and

gushing
pain

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I was told a saying by someone who was pitying me..

A former pen pal to me..

I made a poem about it. Made it my own..

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,

Unequal laws unto a savage race,
