Rotterdam

R-ed train rested at Rotterdam station.
O-ver the border to meet a friend,
T-rains all over Europe pass here.
T-oday is a bright and sunny day,
E-very person glows in its brightness
R-ealising not a former disaster, that
D-uring the 40's destruction erupted.
A-long these very streets, evacuated;
M-urderous bombs wrought havoc.
