Royalty Poem by Courtney Gomo

Royalty

Rating: 3.0

Born and bred in the arms of love,
nurtured by grace,
raised by elegance,
mothered by the arms of perfection,
showered with praises,
that's the road to kingship.

Born and bred in poverty,
nurtured by hardships,
raised in hope,
discovering a power to drive ones soul,
becoming more than you are,
giving more than you have.

The beauty of turning:
your poverty to glory,
your hardships to motivation,
and your hope to action,
that's the route to royalty.

It's your title that makes you king,
but it takes heart and nobility to be royal.
