Rubble Poem by Christopher Tye

Rubble

Rubble

Ruined buildings crumbling back to earth,
Uncared for and being reclaimed by nature,
Barn's superseded and lying empty,
Big castles long since vacated,
Long lost Roman villas buried underground,
Entire medieval villages abandoned due to the black-death.
