Rules Of War Are Not: Animal Instinct Run Kill Poem by Terence George Craddock

Rules Of War Are Not: Animal Instinct Run Kill

Rating: 5.0

tragic writers poets write; pain tragic accounts of wars;
all wars are tragic all innocent; youth sold hero myths;
war will acid agony like a worm; eating brain teach lessons;
what is wrong what is right; as scream youth hero charges;
head shot dead silent instant; ending speech half through a word;
a splinter split brain word; never word nor sentence completed;
no more thoughts nor words; will ever form be sentence spoken;
history teaches Adonis youth lost; rots maggot feast battle broken;

survival in mother nature teaches; animals swift from danger run;
human youth in contrast is drafted; trained to savage death gun run;
in nature predation predator prey; hunger starving survival death;
can be swift or broken torn lingering; teeth claw not a bullet breath;
animal instinct run kill fight; for survival humanity war is political;
survival individual becomes; soldier sliced diced burned mechanical;

Nothing can be achieved with wars. Only deaths and destructions. A curse for humanity. Nice write. Thanks.
