Runner and topper

"Fortune favors the brave"
So we behave
In systematic manner
To fare better

The legend is full of advices
But we miss often
We pay less respect
And lose in fact

If I am poor and in short of reach
And my neighbor so rich
With all sources in command
I must blame my trend

I know why I have less
And what difficulty I face
It is lack of will power
That keeps me always far

So from now on
I shall remain
On top of ladder
As best runner and topper
