Running After The Balloon Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Running After The Balloon

Running After the Balloon

My oh my, I kept running after the balloon.
Long string kept running fast.
The sky turned a thunder clapping sound now.
I wanted to seek a dry spot but couldn't.
So I let the kite down in great disappointment.
