Sacrifice, The Wounds In The Heart Of A Beauty Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Sacrifice, The Wounds In The Heart Of A Beauty

The wounds in the heart of a beauty
Felt so deeply within
So much depth
So many emotions
I feel everything

Into the pain I go
A stranger never was, I
Crying when beauty cries
Knowing the all familiar pain
The grueling abasing of life

The world can be so unforgiving
Sorrow seems too powerful
In a long state of distress
So hard everything is
As hope seems nothing more
But an enlightened metaphor's descend

Inside the depths of a hurting beauty
I can so dearly, so solemnly relate
Different paths, Different places
Yes, But everything else seems all the same

Many tears falling down
Dreaming of mine being combined
Making one big waterfall
Falling into a wishing well
Of a better tomorrow
Where wishes are kept
Sacred and benign

The wounds in the heart of a beauty felt
Never deserving of any pain
If only I could mend the suffrage with mine
I would sacrifice self for the light upon beautiful eyes
Into the oasis of a deserving soul's salvation

If only I could take it all away
Mending the agony all with mine
Sacrificing for all things sacred
Into the realm of a beauty's paradise divine

The wounds in the heart of a beauty
Surely a place that I would go
Protecting all of its flowing form
Guarding all its majestic glow
Truly would surely oblige

I would cure the wounds inside the heart of beauty
Even if it meant breaking mine

To see a beauty smile
Is so much worth the sacrifice?
Yes, because I know in the end
I can always fix mine
Have done so well too many times

No matter where the beauty goes
I just always want to see her, feel her smiling wide

Being the cure for a beauty's peace is so much worth the sacrifice
