Sadness

It surrounds me like water
It molds around me seals me in
And nothing can stop it
Not even happiness
Or the embrace of love
It takes me up and fills me
Controls me
My thoughts
My actions
And makes me watch
As it ruins my life
And my dreams
Only one can help
But sadness is pushing
That one away
The one that can help
The one that got away
