Sadness Poem by Sophia Alexopoulos

Sadness

Rating: 4.8

I balance on the edge of reason
At the brink of the abyss
Struggling to keep from falling
Holding on to nothingness
There is no need to fight
For I have no strength left in me
Release my grip and take the plunge
Forsaking now my dignity
Sweet surrender eases my journey
Into the oblivion below
I try to wake from this nightmare
As my tears of sorrow flow
I cannot break this spell
These tears will not abate
No use in trying to survive
For now I've sealed my Fate.

Outstanding work. Again I was on that same stage. Most of the people can relate to this message that you have written so clear.
