Sailing On Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Sailing On

As I look back at this brief journey
Realizing in the past, sailing was rough,
I'm filled with thanks at the reality
God's dear Presence was more than enough.

Those times when all was lost and I failed.
When everything was vague with fear,
I was a tattered boat that sailed
Through raging storms, yet God was here.

He held me through the most trying days
Filled my life with light and wisdom
When I was weak, I found His grace
To face whatever in this life may come.

Now nearing times that bring my sunset
With Hope and Peace, I sail head on
For through it all I will not forget
My God with me sails on.
