Sails Filled With Potential Poem by Rhonda Baker

Sails Filled With Potential

I am but a ship, with vast sails waiting for a gust of breeze
To carry me to another world or possibly to other seas
The potential of where I may blow a mystery
Maybe I’ll go down in history
Oh, to fill my sails with all the world has to offer
Every person and trinket a treasure for my coffer
If life could carry me effortless, like a great sailboat
All of my potential out of me would float
