Sarad-Punam 1. Poem by Alpeshkumar Natubhai Makvana

Sarad-Punam 1.

Rating: 5.0

Oh! Full-moon night of Sarad punam; you have become a bride tonight. It reminds me of her who never had any less beauty, tranquility or grace. All stars stalk ahead with their pressed breath; Ah, they will join soon, A would be bride; the moon. In this twinkle of night the rays like gold-white so from eminent to so such prominent; Let them pour upon me and drink to the last droplet. Oh moon, the way thy cool pierces me deep in my soul the same way her soul sought my soul. And this must be a chance: I can see you opened eyes and her closed eyes; Both i can only feel but none i can touch or ever will.
