Saturday Night Poem by lucas shakespere

Saturday Night

Rating: 3.5

I had a dream and in the dream my arms
Were thin; it was a good dream,
In town before the screaming and
The bleeding starts, a good dream,
I hope to go back to practice
The old heroics, not sure if I am
Awake or asleep, drowsy with suffering,
In my essence I am the air rising and falling
In my lungs like the flood of a dirty
Ocean, I will not eat meat as a fashion statement
Of intent and to control my hunger, the
Cold is getting colder, the heat less warm
As October drives its cart towards
Christmas, and in town the people,
Virilant as a disease, walk through in crowds
Of sober desire, they will start drinking soon.
Is this a good dream?
