Savannah's Oaks Poem by Walterrean Salley

Savannah's Oaks

Oh, the Spanish oaks,
So beautiful and neat,
That canopy the open space
And line Savannah's streets—
From Oglethorpe to Liberty,
And Victory Drive too.
Nothing else can grace a site
Like those old oaks do.
