Say A Good-bye

Say a good bye
Say a good bye
I never want to
Say a good bye
to you

When I want to,
I can't
because saying good bye
is hard to do.

Why should I
say a good bye
to you
when I can
say a hello
to you?

I won't let you
tell me good bye
because that
would be
the hardest thing
for me to do.

Saying good bye
is just not
what I like to do.

I rather say hello
instead of good bye.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I wrote this when I was really upset and someone wanted me to say good bye but I just couldn't do it so I stayed quiet instead.

Tell me not (Sweet) I am unkind,
That from the nunnery
