Saying A Prayer Poem by Randy McClave

Saying A Prayer

When you clasp you're hand and say a prayer
God is always there,
Though many will argue his being
He is always listening and seeing.
When you feel the warmth and then the support
Then the peace and the comfort,
When you know then what exactly to do
God is with you.

God listens to every prayer that we speak
No matter how strong or how weak,
He was there at every birth and christening
God, is always there listening.
Whether you pray by your bed or in a closet
He is there because of it,
Whenever you need a spiritual guide
God is at your side.

When you place your hands together in request
Be happy and feel blessed,
God wants to hear about your worries and trouble
He'll turn your mountains, into rubble.
If you are sick or depressed or under the weather
Place your hands proudly and humbly together,
If you are alone or in a group or in a den or in a lair
God is always there.
