Scared & Confused
Free verse or Rhyme,
The end result is the same time after time,
My heart spelled out on the page,
Yet you still safe and warm in your little cage,
Not noticing the pain and the agony,
The tears welled up in my eyes,
Lost and confused,
My voice worn and overused,
Speaking to my heart and mind,
But frightened to speak to you.

That's good stuff. But if you're rhyme then it must be in every next lines. You missed couple of times. (agony eyes, mind you)
