Scarred Poem by Oluwakeji Daniel Onabajo

Scarred

My pals played a game of cards
Got me lost in the map
Left me a game leg
Fell a leaf from my stem
In a manner that left a mark.

Believed I would remain scarry
It was an hairy adventure
Paving way for a better future
Making me a life savvy.

It's not what I have to worry
For it's going to be my story
Making it a part of history
That I was placed in a matrix
Got my skin labeled with cicatrix
Scarred, yet living to victory.
