Schubert's Serenade Poem by hassan dawut

Schubert's Serenade

She's dancing in the moonlight
He sees her as a swan
But he is a crow
So he leaves

When she's become a white dot
He realizes that he's been vanishing
He dose not want to vanish
So he goes back
Slowly his face began to glow

She's dancing in the moonlight
His heart is pounding
He must seize the moment
Before the swan flies away
Before the dawn comes to play

When they almost become as one
He realizes that he's been melting
He dose not want to let go
He reaches his hand
But his hand fades
He cries out loud
But he's frightened by his own voice
So he leaves

She's dancing in the moonlight
He's pondering on a branch:
What's it
Between possessing and letting go?
