Scott Poem by Francis Duggan

Scott

Rating: 5.0

He will go back to Scotland where he first saw light of day
To the Island of Barrie far north and far away
From this far southern Country homeland of the kangaroo
To bring closure to his past something he has to do.

To meet all of his siblings some of them for the first time
Their children like his children young people in their life's prime
He has to meet all of his family and more about them know
And then he can get on with living life and of the past leave go.

Scott is a master builder one of the best for miles around
He has built many houses to completion from the ground
An honest hard working fellow in him there is so much good
A person who loves people he would help you if he could.

In the Town of Wonthaggi he has made many a friend
And his distinctive Scottish accent will be with him till his end
But he will return to farewell Scotland to that far northern shore
And meet all of his siblings some he has never met before.
