Secrets On Sand. Poem by Anjali Chand

Secrets On Sand.

Do you write secrets on sand?
As it holds them with integrity
Cradling the shells in it's lap,
And washed away sandcastles
Carrying the stories from eternity.

Do you write secrets on sand?
As it smells of the finest particles
Which have built the tallest skyscrapers,
And It smells of the loftiest mountains
Whose strongest rocks got grounded and withered.

Do you write secrets on sand?
Just like lovers write the names of their par-amour
With unsaid feelings and unspoken confessions,
And Longings of hopeful companionships
While still embracing their solitude.

Do you write secrets on sand?
Just like the dreamers engrave their dreams upon.
With their hearts filled with traction of wishes
Yet with loads of the failures and losses
But still,  with the hope and spirit to carry-on.

Do you write secrets on sand?
Like a shattered heart with sadness beating
Just like the fingers holding an indelible ink
Of the colourless blood carving imprints
On a marshy sand, besides the beach.

..... I believe....

You should write secrets on sand.
Cuz it's blessed with the serenity of winds,
To wipe away all those feelings
And it's blessed with the waves and breeze
To dissolute the pain into tranquility.

You should write secrets on sand.
To sweep away those emotions
Into the infinity of the ocean,
And To suspend those failures
Into the vastness of possibilities.
