See My Pain Poem by Nicole Warner

See My Pain

Can't you see me in my misery? You can see me but you look the other way. Screaming, cussing, fighting and yelling! Never am I heard! Never am I seen! Cutting, imploding, crying for help! These things you ignore! These things you treat as if I'm the devil! They're all just a cry.... A cry for help when my words are not loud enough for you! Do you hear my cry? What about seeing my misery? Or even feel my pain? I'm just like you! I'm pricked and I shall bleed! I'm sad and I shall cry! Happy hear my laughter! But yet you treat me as a monster! Why? Why dear friend do you do that? I need love and respect too! Someone to hold with their caring touch just like they do for you! So please hear my cry! Somebody somewhere help before I die!
