See You Run Poem by Joseph Cuevas

See You Run

Rating: 5.0

The only time I want to see you run is when you're running into my arms,
It's alright, don't be afraid, I want to take care of you I'm not here to harm,
I'll respect you as a women while I'll treat you like a goddess,
Sweetheart this is not a lie it's just my love for I'm being modest,
You are sweet like a hersheys kiss,
Your love and care makes my life purely bliss,
And because I can't help but remember this,
Whenever I feel lonely it's you that I miss,
Even when I'm crowded and have all the company I need,
Still just imagining you so far away tears my heart forcing me to bleed,
And when it does the blood spills into each vein,
Changing their direction so my veins and blood spell out your name,
I'm not insane I'm only in pain,
Feeling so helpless like a cat in the rain,
You aren't here to hold my hand,
The thought of it I cannot stand,
My heart screams silently and gives a harsh demand,
That so faithfully I'll hold onto you even if I find that your love is pretend,
So darling I'll be with you till the very end,
So long as you don't run from me showing you're in fear,
But run into my arms so that I may rid your cheeks of every last tear..
