Seeking The Sun Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Seeking The Sun

Rating: 5.0

Oh misty morn that clouds my view,
The mountain hides behind your veil,
Frozen is the morning dew,
Sky is but a gloomy grey.

Summer seems so far from reach,
Longing for the glowing sun,
Thoughts of days upon the beach,
Bright pink candy floss and fun.

In the woodland crows fly low,
With menacing cries that fill the air,
Nature changes everyday,
A gift of life we all must share.
