Seizing Love

Seizing Love
Nasir Uddin Ahmed Numan

Ido not want to see you but I do
My heart aches
It's like the balloon full of water
that fails totame the thrust
Loneliness melts all
And the bitter winter wants to bend.

I know, I do not need to mention
Because I hate you less than I love.

Something follows me like a panther
In the desolate forest
I remain calm and cold
Falling leaves or the stir of wind
Makes my soul jump like a deer
I see your face before me.

Even at the darkest hour of night
When the sun is in exile
and the owls fail to settle
or even the howling foxes
cry at their fruitless rambling
I do not see you
but you are there
With a glowing light you roam
I hate you but I see
Everywhere I see you beside me.

Lonely as I go
No one does know
But I know you are there
Love does dare and care
The loose strings do not allow us
to go far away
Strong wind drags us closure
makes us squeeze and sway.
