September Changes Poem by Marilyn Lott

September Changes

Rating: 5.0

Why, it was only yesterday
The days were hot as fire
Some folks really had enough
Cool days they then did desire.

Just this morning coolness came
I woke up to a bit of chill
Although not ready to say goodbye
To warm weather I enjoy still.

But Mother Nature makes her call
The temperature she rearranges
So all we can do is enjoy
Those dramatic September changes!

Your study of nature is always remarkable. The poem nicely captures the seasonal change- from hot to moderately chill atmosphere that comes with the beginning of September. Thanks for sharing.
