As the autumn leaves falls to the ground,
From what was the beginning of us,
Was then the end,
Why did I not question then,
The value of our love?
For value holds a price,
That can cost two people a lot,
When love goes astray,
Why could you not,
Like me just walk away,
That would have been asking too much,
I know what that means,
Leaving behind what you only knew,
To start anew like a new season coming,
Not knowing where it will lead,
Only knowing what was is no more,
We were so young,
Yet, trapped in what seemed,
To have our lives mapped out,
Before it even began,
I knew within me,
Was my free spirit feeling caged,
So, to try and change you,
Was easier to just walk away,
So, I left,
You stayed,
Youth on my side,
I managed to see,
Other places and new big wide-open spaces,
And soon I adapted,
Forgot about you,
Was as if to say,
I knew you no more,
Yet,
Remembering,
When September falls,
Like the changing of the leaves,
So, did we simply fall away,
Fall away,
Leaving,
With no real goodbyes,
Just that understanding of knowing.
All was lost,
That day,
When I choose to,
Walk away.

I would like to translate this poem
Young love can be everlasting.Yet, when one wants to leave and one must stay, love will show its true feelings when allowing one to walk away. Remembering, When September falls, Like the changing of the leaves, So, did we simply fall away, .. love, faithfulness, permanency in relationships. so much to think. tony
