Ok, I'll admit it, to you all
I'm in love with someone I shouldn't be
The person who makes me laugh and dance
And sing until my soul breaks free
He whips my heart and makes it sail
He makes me want to really inhale
Life, just simply, life in its purest form
And I know that that is selfish..
Because he's had so many heartaches
So much pain, so much taken away
But then, he plays with my heart
And makes it skip on a lullabye
So, why do I persist? Why do I
Stay and wait for him, endlessly
Reaching for his touch, that makes
Me jump into the clouds and back again
Because he is the only person that has
Ever really, truly made me feel this
And I'm never going to give that up
Throw it away like a discarded flower
Because, when will I ever see that again?
When could that ever happen to me?
What is the chance that all the pain
I've put up with til now, Is just real?
He fills my heart and fills my brain
With everything that is wrong and then
Turns my dreams into velvet skies
And trips on golden sands, to fly
I love him, I really do, but what
On Earth can I do to make him realise
That all the hell I've been to
And risen above, is all born from Love?
So I whisper on a tiny wind in the hope
That he can see these words and realise
Just realise, how much, how deep
How far I go, How much I love him so
Are you listening? Can you hear?
Can you see what my heart holds dear?
If so, then don't refrain
Come to me in the sweet September rain
True love never gives up. That's how some of us know we didn't have it, despite appearances. Fight, fight, fight, and fight to win! Love the spirit of this piece. Well written. t x
It's called that 'once in a lifetime love' you just can't fight it, just take it all in as you've said and hold every precious moment in your heart. This is beyond a beautiful love song.... I can just hear TH singing it loud and clear.... hugs, mm. :) [lordy you've been a busy bee, trying to keep up with you, buggers! }
