September Sun Poem by Philo Yan

September Sun

Rating: 5.0

The September sun
plays hide and seek
Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo
with the gloomy clouds
mischief winds nudging
like the devil's advocate..

"Sekejap ada, sekejap tak ada"
sighs the frazzled housewives
With loads of laundry to dry
Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo
Makes them want to cry
to play a game of 'catch'
with the September sun.
