Set Free

Your bounds are breaking
As your bones are grinding
Wanting to be set free
Urging to see
All that’s happening
Finally come to an understanding
With all the sound
And all that is around

Lock up in your mind
All that makes you blind
So that no one can feel
This barrier made of steel
Which you draw up
So that you don’t drop

Don’t involve others
Do the right thing
Who would be forgiving
To one that staggers
And unburdens himself
Of this sordid sense of death

So go on with your life
Don’t come begging after me
Don’t launch that strife
Because I don’t want to be
All I’ve seen you become
Since you’ve gone from…
