Set Free Once Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Set Free Once

Rating: 3.5

Set free

With one season's rain
It brings joy with pain
Life is reduced to few minutes
Lizards are on the floor swallowing their bodies

Wings lie scattered
Their quest for shattered
We have same life span
And render life meaningless if not planned

Sometime we fail
And can't avail
As situation force
And make us to run scarce source

We are powerless
But keep smile on face
Struggle with stress
To attain goal with chase

With life or death
Life must be lived with last breathe
We have nothing in hand to see
But work hard to set free
