I burn your
precious letters
(you know the ones)
all paper promises
& lies...lies...lies.
I watch your words
curl at the edges
watch the flames
lick at sentences
tentatively
then devour pages
ravenously
your voice become
smoke
promises...lies
ashes...ashes.
I wish this would give me the courage to set fire to all the promises...lies...and turn them into ashes which would then blow away in the wind! Loved this one.
