Seven Deadly Sins Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Seven Deadly Sins

Seven deadly sins,
What are these,
Do you know,
They are seven,
Seven in number?

Avarice shown by a toad,
Envy by a snake,
Wrath by a lion,
Sloth by a snail,
Gluttony by a pig,
Lust by a goat,
Pride by a peacock.

Are they seven sins,
Seven deadly sisters,
Catholic sisters
Allegorical?
But still now the things
Are not clear,
Need more explanations.
