Several Hundred Times Poem by M S Latter

Several Hundred Times

I must have said this several hundred times,
I'm getting bolder, please now give your ear,
While stuttering less often through these lines

I add the details to be very clear;
In each repeat I'll give them all again,
I know precisely what you need to hear.

But for this point I'm sorry - must explain
We're late, and telling this I don't enjoy -
I give my best warm tone, please don't complain.

Sincere and peaceful, trying not to annoy,
I am here to inform - a travel friend
(Identity and mission with the tannoy) -

Helping you reach your journey's end.
Simply have to accommodate all kinds,
And mutters which I fail to comprehend.

I do enjoy repeating all these lines,
I must have said them several hundred times.
