Shadowed Poem by Victoria Ritchie

Shadowed

Did they notice, the shadowed light
Around his aura, he tried to hide
Taunting the spirits, within his mind
Teasing the life, it left behind
Flickers of hope, gleam upon his face
Killing the sanity, in his lonely place
Fighting for humanity, he tried to stop
Walking the edge, he's capeable of
Eding the torture, to ease his pain
As his life, has nothing to gain
He's along now, in his place below
Looking up upon, generations growing old
With his sanity, kept in a jar
Beside him under, the blood stained grass.
