Shake hands with my heart
Sit down lets talk awhile
You don't come around as
often was it something i said
that made us part.

I can't recall having offended you
Though that often my lot
not thinking before destroying
anothers heart.
Sit awhile and talk sure it can't
hurt to smile and say hello.

I'm thinking wouldn't it be nice
if once again you shook hands
with my heart.Not often i can
say sorry or even let you know
how much i missed you.
Please don't go, sit awhile.

Whilst i try to explain how much
i regret the time we have spent apart.
Such fond memories i have of being
with you.Quietly talking, and sharing our dreams.
How i wish you would smile, and
