here you are,
spinning with me
slow
painting me in
your mysterious glow
bringing that wonderful feeling
no one could ever
explain
i feel it now
dripping from every word you say
my heartbeat fighting that clench
of fear
and it's foolish attempt
to drain our love

but right now you're mine
and i know you're here
to stay this time.
forgetting you ever left
me behind.
i won't speak to you
of the lonely times
when i'd stare at your pictures
alone and cry.
i watch you breathe now
here beside me.
you are the perfect gift.
sent to me
from somewhere
above.
I want you to know every
inch of me.
I want you to see inside
of me.
And how I ache to see
inside you.
to know every bend and crease
of you.

and when we kiss
the world stands still,

my heart sings out
in a soothing
whisper...

tells me to pull
and hold you close.

to never
let you go.
