Shame, Blame And Change Poem by Sohan Prasad Sharma

Shame, Blame And Change

The river of the tears seems never ending,
the corrupt seems never to be repenting.
Situations are told to have some new changes,
but is the same as were during the ages.

Whom to blame and who need to be the shame? ,
we, he she or whom, I do not see any other to blame.
Why cry tears of the jackal when we are the shame,
why point the finger to other when we are the blame.

The blame that do not try to get some change,
the shame we feel pride to be within its range.
The soul so full of pride and false pretension,
the mind so full of blues and sinful conviction.

The tears of the poor you cannot see and bear,
yet you pretend to sooth and with them forbear.
Oh! the sinful progeny of this poor land,
raise your head and see towards the heaven.

If ever you get a place there, though unfair,
will you shine and a place can you get to share?
The pious heart will twinkle like a star,
and you be the ore of sin, comrade of tar.

Open your eyes now and take a positive stride,
stride that progeny follows and shines with pride.
Move with an aim to finish the mal-option,
bring the Nation to her proper projection.
