Sharing Solitud Poem by Sandra Feldman

Sharing Solitud

Rating: 5.0

If I could,
I would share with you,
The solitudes of my Soul.
Would you listen?
Would you comfort me?
Poetry,
So I know, I'm not alone.

How kind and understanding you all are. Solitude is also less with good poet friends around. Thank you all!

I thought this was addressed to another person. Only in line 6 do we learn you are talking to Poetry Herself - and she definitely listens and comforts. By animating poetry as a person, you sugges the intimacy with klife itself that poetrry makes possible. And that is a blessing for thos of us who are faithfulfollowers of her.

Sandra, i truly believe that most poets need solitude. Know i do to write; Believe that it has helped you to create some of your most awesome works, dear one.
