Shattered Soul
A soul once filled with happiness and trust
Now filled with so much doubt and pain
A soul once sheltered by light and love
Now broken, shattered, clouded by the rain
I spend my nights, my days
Praying that soon I may forget
Forget even the memories that started with love
Only to leave me with millions of broken promises
And Trust that seems to be lost
