you used to be my everything
until the day you became nothing
we were happy
then you left me
my tears have fallen
and they hit the ground hard
so hard they shatter
i believed in you and you still gave up
you let me fall when you promised to catch me
my shattered tears have fallen
i feel myself fall even harder
i feel my heart darken
shattered tears are just the pain i bear
all my heart is are these scars i wear
