Its a brand new year baby
lets hope the bullets stop flying
lets hope the bombs stop falling
Time to stop the war
Time to start the peace-

























You thought you'd found someone
forever true
but that was not the case
She betrayed you

You thought you knew exactly
what you were doing
but you made a mistake
now you must live
with the heartbreak
knowing that
She betrayed you

Your eyes once full of laughter
now flood with tears
Sadness is the shadow that you wear
everywhere you go darkness appears
since she betrayed you






Too many people
already dead
stop the bloodshed
Stop the war
Start the peace-

We the people
need to come together
We're too far apart
stop the hate
and let love rule our heart
