She Found Her Peace Beside The Sea Poem by Francis Duggan

She Found Her Peace Beside The Sea

Rating: 4.3

I did not know her personally though of her i've been told
And she's found her peace beside the sea safe from the rain and cold
She got her wish her final wish that she should have her rest
South in Kilcunda by the waves in place where she loved best

She used to go there on holidays at times we all need space
And i can appreciate how she felt about that peaceful place
The only sounds the ocean waves and gulls on the sea shore
And such a place might suit one fine to rest forever more.

She had her ups and downs in life but so too don't we all
And life is just a learning game before we walk we crawl
For any mistakes that she made a price she had to pay
And her friends who stood by her in life still stand by her today.

The silver gulls call in the skies above Kilcunda bay
And an ocean wind blow up the hill through the graveyard where she lay
And 'Joy' has found her peace at last here where she wish to be
And only sounds the sea birds cries and rumblings of the sea.
