She Is Gone Poem by Arun Maji

She Is Gone

Rating: 5.0

She is gone
And my heart does not dance anymore.
When she was with me,
Even those stars in distance
Could hear galloping rhythm of my heart.
But now?
She is gone
And my heart does not dance anymore.

My heart is still a heart
But it has lost its heart.
It makes a lot of movement
But they are all senseless, rhythm-less, graceless.
O world, could you hear me
She is gone
And my heart does not dance anymore.

And I listen to flute
To forget her whisper,
I feel petals of flowers
To forget her tenderness,
I drink wine
To forget gravity of her eyes,
But alas! All in vain.
She is gone
And my heart does not dance anymore.

So very sad when she is gone, your heart becomes empty and does not dance anymore. All things done to forget her, but all in vain, because your heart does not dance anymore. Lovely poem expressing a loved one that is gone. A 10 Full Score and much much more.
