She is Woman
Focus is one of her many allies, whilst she negotiates her singular path,
This road shetravelles, evading challenges and theiraftermath,
Agility in her step, one foot follows the other, alone her path is laid,
Stepping aside as required, her simplistic rhythm compellinglyunswayed,
Who is she?
Despite the dawning challenge, thrown within her lifelongcourse,
She continues her focus, solidly determined, absolutely no remorse,
Harsh they think her demeanor, yet who in Gods name? are they to assess,
Thanks for your uninformed annayalasis, and frankly may God bless,
Who is she?
Not many could cope, with all of these, extreme circumstances,
Strength of character, surely, in every way she epitomizes,
She's twice as strong, twice as resolved, for survival surely dictates,
Your observance lacking, strength is the least of all her personal traits,
Who is she?
Her softer side is so rarely shared, however it surely does exist,
She will share, her love and laughter, if only you can persist,
She seeks to find, the inner beauty, in anything she is handed,
Whilst holding fast, a simple yet respectfullyhigh standard,
Who is she?
She speaks so softly, resolve rests upon every single word,
She will laughingly reply, that anonymity, is rather preferred,
She takes no credit, for all that she manages, and solely achieves,
Enquiring questions, answered repetitively, with what she believes,
Who is she?
I am not an intelligent, woman, I hold nothing impressive,
I am not an accomplished woman, I am not socially progressive,
I am not rich, influential or amazing, by any decree,
In fact all that I am, is just plain and simple, little old me,
Who is she?
She is strength, (she is your wife)She is wisdom, (she is your mother)
She is loving, (she is your daughter)She is humble (she is your sister)
She is woman. (she is everything and more)
